Embed options overview

Log in to AppointmentThing and click on the "My Appointments" link in the header.

On the next screen, click on "Appointment Types" in the left-hand sidebar.

On one of the listed appointment types, click the embed icon code

On the next screen, choose one of these options:

• Inline Embed - Loads your booking form directly on your website.
• Popup Widget - Adds a floating button to your site that launches your booking form as a popup.
• Popup Text - Add a text link to your site that launches your booking form as a popup.

You will now see a screen with 2 steps for finalizing the code that you will use to embed your booking form.

Step 1, "Customize", is different for each kind of embed:

Inline Embed

The Customize options for Inline Embed allow you customize your embedded appointment booking form.

• "Appointment Types" lets you choose the appointment types your users can choose between.
• "Page Settings" gives you further customization options, including your own colors and layout for the booking form page, and whether or not to show details on the booking page.

Popup Widget

The Customize options for Popup Widget allow you customize a floating button on your site, which launches a popup with your appointment booking form.

• "Appointment Types" lets you choose the appointment types your users can choose between.
• "Button Settings" allows you to customize the button text and colors for your floating button
• "Page Settings" gives you further customization options, including your own colors and layout for the booking form page, and whether or not to show details on the booking page.

Popup Text

The Customize options for Popup Text allow you customize a link on your site, which launches a popup with your appointment booking form.

• "Appointment Types" lets you choose the appointment types your users can choose between.
• "Link Settings" allows you to customize the link text and colors for your floating button
• "Page Settings" gives you further customization options, including your own colors and layout for the booking form page, and whether or not to show details on the booking page.
